Once we purchased from Rural King in Maysville KY, we wouldn't get anything different. A good 'ole hometown recipe for biscuits that go Great in Biscuits-n-gravy. Believe me, I'm not a fan of biscuits-n-gravy, but this has changed my mind. Thank you for having them available online.
We first found this mix at Rural King. When the local ones stopped carrying it, we looked everywhere, trying to find it in another store in our area. Finally, we searched Google and found we could order a case. We just had our first chicken and dumplings from Teays Valley mix, and they were even better than we remembered! Dumplings just like our mothers made--big and fluffy! So excited that we can order them online and have them delivered straight to our door! Thank you! My mother swears by Teays Valley Cornbread. Whenever we are in WV we usually buy out what ever the store has. Last time I saw this dumpling mix and decided to give it a try. I've been making Chicken 'n Dumplings for over 20 years and these are possibly the best dumplings I have ever made. As soon as dinner was over my husband was online trying to figure out how we can get more without driving to WV.
